Description |
This inscription was probably constructed under the commission of Phra Chao Srī-īśānvarman the First (1158-1178 B.E.) who ordered it be installed at a holy place in Mueang District, Chanthaburi province. This is because text on the inscription states “stone inscription chiseled by metal which Phra Chao Srī-īśānvarman royally proffered”, with much of its content listing the many slaves and cattle which he devoted for that particular holy place. |
