Description |
The inscription begins with the eulogy for Lord Śiva and Lord Viṣnu, followed by that for King Sūryavarman 1st. Following on from the eulogy, the lines indicate that King Sūryavarman appointed Vīravarman as an army inspector, and gave him much land and wealth as well as the new name “Kṛtajñavallabha”. The subsequent content mentions the offering of slaves and things for holy sculptures and also the boundary demarcation for the holy place. |
