Description

The beginning of the sentence of this inscription is a little decayed. The complete content could be in relation to suffering, the origin of suffering, the cessation of suffering and the path leading to the cessation of suffering, which is the Four Noble Truths expounded by the Lord Buddha. In the 12th Buddhist century, when the central region of Thailand was ruled by the Dvāravati kingdom, people liked to inscribe narratives of the Four Noble Truths on the Dharmacakra.
