1958-1961. The first field work trip of Moerman in Thailand. He spent almost 3 years to collected field data about the Lue society, tradition, culture, and daily life of Tai Lue community at Ban Phaed, Payao province. 3295 records of slide, photograph, punch card, letter, notebook, typescript, and map.

| December 7. Thawee planned to undermine the credibility of the witnesses by focusing on color of the shirt of his client during the incident. Nobody would wear a white shirt to cause trouble at night because it was too observable. In addition, another police witness was quite weak. | Punch card

| March 18, 1969. Suthon pointed out relationship between the current legislation and juridical tradition in the past, such as denying bail to the accused or bail deposit in the high amount. According to his opinion, such act was equal to torture the accused in the past. Then, Moerman interviewed Prawin and Tharin about the cases such as illegal lottery, illegal logging, and portable gun without license. Especially the case of firearms, Prawin filed the lawsuit to the Supreme Court. | Punch card

There were two possible ways to pay bribe officials: before the case was filed for the attention of the prosecutors, and after consideration by the prosecutors on whether the case should be submitted for litigation.
