1958-1961. The first field work trip of Moerman in Thailand. He spent almost 3 years to collected field data about the Lue society, tradition, culture, and daily life of Tai Lue community at Ban Phaed, Payao province. 3295 records of slide, photograph, punch card, letter, notebook, typescript, and map.

| December 8, 1968. Thawee and Kacon who was his assistant rehearsed the testimony of the witness before testifying. Thawee was not satisfied with the delay in the answers of the witnesses. | Punch card

Murder at Nan.

| December 7, 1968. In general, Thawee had promptly conducted the cases. But for this case he accepted that finally, it would be renowned. However, the problem in this case was that the second defendant was hired by the first defendant to commit murder. And he had negotiated a plea deal to be a witness if he would not be punished. Thawee intended to exploit the vulnerability of the colour of the shirt of the gunman and the trajectories to advocate for his client. | Punch card

| December 16, 1968. A man stabbed his own father and was injured. Because it was a shocking case, the court had decided the defendant should be imprisoned for 10 years. | Punch card

Buffalo theft.

| June 22, 1968. A young man was accused of stealing buffalo, but there was not enough evidence. The witnesses saw the defendant at night and they could not determine whether the defendant was with animals, and which kind. The court dismissed the lawsuit for this reason. Later the police found the missing buffalo. (Moerman represented the information by utilizing a number to indicate people in the courtroom, the map also shows the location of the people). | Punch card

Corruption in the telegraph dept.

| December 16, 1968. Fraud in the case of the Department of Telegraph, with damages estimated as more than 10 million baht. The judge focused specifically on the details of the telegraph poles and wires. On 18 June1969 this case was still in the process because it was difficult to find evidence for the bribes that contractors paid to the defendant. From an initial investigation it was found that the telegraph poles were installed, but they were not standardized. But because of bribes from the contractors, those who were responsible approved it. | Punch card

Tom boy accused of helping to steal a motorcycle.

| Late November a couple, a man and woman, were arrested on charges of stealing vehicles. The woman claimed that the man persuaded her to ride a motorcycle without knowing that the motorcycle was stolen. Lastly, the man confessed and accepted that the woman was not involved. She was acquitted. The court sentenced the man to imprisonment, but the sentence was suspended (Moerman noted everything that happens including court attires, answers and questions, and the interactions of the people in the court). | Punch card

| February 6, 1969. A 70-year-old woman was arrested in a case of heroin trade, but because of her age, the court considered a reduction of the penalty. | Punch card

| November 22, 1968. Boonting became the defendant because of an assault. (Moerman carefully noted everything that happened in the court, including the attires, questions- and answers, and the interaction of the people in the court). | Punch card

Chinese immigrants.

| January 31, 1969. The police mistakenly believed that the Yao family were illegal Chinese immigrants, and they were caught. In fact that the Yao family lived in the mountains and ran a trade with the military Guo Min Tang. | Punch card
