He spent almost 3 years to collected field data about the Lue society, tradition, culture, and daily life of Tai Lue community at Ban Phaed, Payao province. 3295 records of slide, photograph, punch card, letter, notebook, typescript, and map.

| August 27, 2504 B.E. A letter from Amphon to Moerman, expressing gratitude for the money to support the wedding. Po Oui had already recovered from illness. She gave an explanation about divorce, marriage between the Muang and Lue people, and announced that there were six couples that would marry before the farming season. | Letter
