1962-1966. This series consist of 187 records of punch card, letter, and postcard. These materials are from the second field work trip of Moerman in Thailand. He revisited Ban Phaed, Payao province to collect additional field data.

| 29 June 1965 – Additional labor on the farm comes from people who are hired and those who are called in to help. It is necessary to hire planters for rice farming because people have fields both at home and in Thunglaw. They want to finish at home early then move on to Thunglaw, so help alone is not enough. | Punch card

| 29 June 1965 - Threads are soaked in rice water prior to weaving so that they won’t break. The Kalom don't weave as much as the Lue. Young people don't want to work the way their elders did, and neither spin nor weave. As soon as they leave school they work in the tobacco factory, and don’t learn to weave. | Punch card
