Scope and content :

The photographs show his work, which is based on “ethnographic whole” approach. It aims to study a community from different sides to respond to given problems. This method reflects the positivist perspective in anthropological works at that time. It also relates to the problems on which Suriya intends to study. The scope of work covers development in the Northeastern region, civic participation and changes.
