1958-1961. The first field work trip of Moerman in Thailand. He spent almost 3 years to collected field data about the Lue society, tradition, culture, and daily life of Tai Lue community at Ban Phaed, Payao province. 3295 records of slide, photograph, punch card, letter, notebook, typescript, and map.

| Censung made a cage to separate the hens and care for them on the terrace, there was an epidemic. The villagers called the actual disease Phi Ha Kai. | Punch card

Construction.

| Most of the villagers would engage in construction after the end of Buddhist lent. The building could be a new house, maintaining or extending the existing house or building a granary. | Punch card
