Some of the meat resulting from the slaughter is used as an offering in the ancestral spirit house and the ancestor house, while some is distributed to the participants. The cuts of meat are distributed according to a hierarchical system, in which the head of the ritual and the medium are given the head of a pig. By combining the various body parts of the animal together, the participants signal that they too, are like parts of a body which have been combined. | Slide
