Scope and content : June 3, 1969. Badin made observation of the courtroom. Many issues of interest such as 1) the meaning of the term “to postpone prosecution”; 2) the Bar exam was the key to career advancement for lawyers. Lawyers in provinces had less opportunity for career advancement compared to lawyers in Bangkok; 3) in the process of litigation over the land, the attorney for the defendants from Bangkok had a dispute with the judge. But in the end the two parties also agreed that several issues should be cut away, to speed up the proceedings of the hearing.
