A letter from Moerman to Dr. Joonphon Sawadiyakorn, at the National Research Council, announcing that he would travel to Thailand to explore areas for future research, including collaboration for academic exchange. In addition he would like to receive suggestions from Dr. Joonphon Sawadiyakorn regarding future research. April 17, 1979. A letter from Moerman to Khun Vichit Koombhar, at the National Research Council, announcing he would travel to Thailand again, and requesting suggestions for future research. June 8, 1979. A letter from David E. Pfanner to Morgan, giving explanation in response to the questions raised by Moerman. He also gave his opinion about the situation in Thailand, both positive and negative sides, and gave recommendations for research in the North.
