Scope and content : July 7, 1965. A Yao woman was negligent, and a fire burnt her house. It caused the death of a 3-month-old child. Villagers insisted that she should pay a fine of 200 Baht and if she could not pay the fine she should be imprisoned. The laws are written to apply to all Thai people, even hill tribesmen. Therefore, they should be educated about the law.
