Scope and content : May 10, 1960. Two thieves who robbed a grocery store in Ban Wan obtained property valued at 1,000 baht and a silver-carved belt. Before the robbers fled, they shot the storeowner. Villagers were suspicious of why the owner did not take a knife out to fight with bandits or shout for help.
