A day later the adoptive father of Chai asked him to find a way to convince his wife, the adoptive mother of Chai, to not break up the life of the couple. Moerman noted a dispute at the district administration office. A man wanted to separate his wife, but his wife did not consent. The Clerk and the Assistant District Officer viewed the incident with a comic attitude.
