Scope and content : October 1968. Suchart was a former mayor of Chiang Mai. He was accused and charged by the Bangkok Court in a case of fraudulent land sale, because a prince wanted to sell the land and give the commission to a broker. Suchart refused to pay the commission. Suchart paid a bribe to the jurors to avoid imprisonment, but the brother of the prince knew about this and reported it to the court. Suchart was guilty and he planned to appeal.
