Scope and content : An officer came to consult Bodin about marriage with his ‘new favorite’. In fact, since he had worked in the military base, his wife had been unfaithful to him and had frequented with other men. However he had never registered a marriage certificate and had no child with her. Bodin strongly recommended him to tell his wife about her unbecoming behavior and to leave her. Regarding his ‘new favorite’, the officer wanted to marry her, however she had not reached the age of 20 years yet and her family did not like him. Bodin recommended him to go see her and her family every week; then to tell her family that she was pregnant and should be married as soon as possible. A month later the officer went to see Bodin and announced that they were married.
