Scope and content : June 19, 1969. Sansern told that Thais were Buddhists who were gentle-hearted. Many judges were proud that they had never sentenced someone to death. But Sansern considered the death sentence as part of the job and that a judge should follow the law. When Sansern was young, he used the death penalty in the case of a man who was accused of murder. However, the case was without witness testimony. Sansern was afraid that his decision was wrong, and he had thus never read the appeal of the lawsuit.
