According to Thawee, many judges lacked experience and brought their feelings and opinions into the courtroom with them, because they took pride in their regular job. Also under consideration was that relatives should not be facing judges in the courtroom. Then Duang was interviewed, an according to him, judges had to persevere in the same frame, i.e. social expectation, as if they were monks. December 8, 1968, notes regarding those who had knowledge and could be selected to assume the position of judge, regardless of family status or background. The most important thing for this position was to be prudent and consider the cases without any bias. December 9, 1968. The notes covered a lawsuit at the Chiang Mai Provincial Court. Lawyers were limited in the examination of the questions and witnesses in order not to waste time in the court hearing.
