Scope and content : December 3, 1968. Somboon Arayanggoon was a class 1 lawyer and was trying to join the election in Chiang Mai. In Moerman's opinion, Somboon had an impressive personality. On February 14, 1969 Somboon stood as a candidate for the election in Lamphun province, but he lost the election. Although he felt sorry to not be elected, he was glad to not have to follow through on the promises he gave to people during his campaign, because he was not confident about accomplishing the goals. He mainly received cases regarding civil suits and land.
