For example, he was hired by an American insurance company (American International Underwriter Insurance Co.) as a consultant in a case of a man who fired a gun at his hand in the hopes of making an insurance claim. There was also a case of claiming the rights to occupy land, which took seven years, and a case of opium smuggling in which he could help the accused be freed from the allegations.
