Theft of U.S. property.

Scope and content : January 23, 1969. An abandoned office, which was the property of the U.S. government, was trespassed. Joe O'Neill, a U.S. government consultant, consulted Moerman about the litigation because he was afraid of the potential effect on international relations between Thailand and the U.S. He sent Captain Cooney to represent the government in litigation. There were three suspects, and two were minors. The sentence was suspended and they had to pay fines. Captain Cooney told Moerman that in Korat many Americans were imprisoned and could not bear to spend their life in prison. In addition, in the course of the investigation Thai police were violent towards the accused.
