Scope and content : July 29, 1960. Moerman, a chief district officer, village headman and assistant district office sailed to join a meeting in tambon Khiawchomphu. At the meeting the chief district officer asked what the people needed urgently for the following year, and helped prioritize work that could be accomplished by the villagers, such as road repairs, toilets made according to hygene standards, nutrition and so on. The chief district officer urged the villagers to take care of their domestic animals and be careful of strangers, because many animals were often lost those days.
