Scope and content : Moerman went to the hospital, and discovered that the number of doctors was insufficient and that the doctors who worked at the hospital were not highly capable. Moerman assisted with an explaination of modern medicine for the Yao parents of a sick child, helping them gain an understanding. In a welfare state this was free of charge. Many people asked Moerman to help explain the medicine that was prescribed by the doctors.
