Scope and content : June 8, 1960. During the beginning of children’s study, teachers needed to use the northern dialect and Lue language for teaching. When they reached to third and fourth class in primary school, the children began to increase their understanding of the central Thai language. But this would typically be forgotten if they left the school. Most parents did not realize the importance of higher education for their children because they needed help with the work at home or in the fields. However, some parents began to realize the importance of higher education for their children because they wanted them to work in the government service.
