Scope and content : August 4, 26 and 28, 1960. Moerman gathered information about the daily life of villagers. For example, first, Nang told that them there was a conflict between the Hmong people in the mountains. Second, the villagers helped to put sand on the roads. Third, Ngen slaughtered buffalo. Fourth, many villagers flocked to buy meat. Fifth, the monks did not have enough to eat, so they rang the bell to ask for additional alms of rice from the villagers.
