Scope and content : January 9, 1960. While waiting at the mill in the Chiang Kham district, Saeng told Moerman that the headman could not trade at this mill, because the owner did not trust him. The headman often had problems with money, as a result the villagers did not trust him. If anyone did something wrong, it became the ‘talk of the town’ in the village market.
