Hill tribe in northern Thailand

The research team plays a tape which was recorded at another village. The villagers listen highly interested and astonished to the recorded voices and greetings from a 7 hours away village. Villagers reacted in different ways towards the recorded tapes: some were a bit scared, some amazed butmost of them were interested. The tape recorder and the tape player were very helpful in order to establish rapport to the hilltribe villagers.
