December 4, 1968. The differences between Lawyer Class 1 and Class 2. A Lawyer Class 1 must have completed a Bachelor of Law and passeda the Bar test, which allowed them to conduct a lawsuit in all provinces across the country. A Lawyer Class 2, however, was a person who had graduated in Law, but could not conduct lawsuits throughout the country.

Visit to Prawin's office.

March 18, 1969. Moerman observed and interviewed people at Prawin's law firm. He heard Suthon talk about quarrels and fights between two groups. In Suthon's opinion, the practice in criminal cases was easier than in civil cases, because in civil cases the judge could involve his personal feelings in the proceedings.

April 29, 1969. Thawee talked to a client about money orders (cheques), while Suthon talked to a girl about what had just happened at the hospital (case?).
