Buddhism in Japan (Paper) The principle of Zen is to pray for others, not for themselves. Making others happy would make that person happy in return. Shinji shumei kai was like a department store where diverse religions could be found. People could come to find what was best for them. The most prominent religion is Shinto.

Ho soldiers

March 25, 1961. Ho soldiers (Guo Min Tang? - translator) were everywhere on the Thai side of the border. They gathered to fight against the communists of Laos. The Ho soldiers had received military support from the U.S. government, in order to protect Thailand from the threat of communism.
