SculptureJataka Scenes at Shwenandawkyaung
In the reign of king Mindong, western influence featured hugely in Myanmese art and Acanthas was adapted to use in Myanmaese architecture. This is a carving telling the Jataka stories surrounded by Acantas decorated at teh corners of the platform in the building of Shwenandawkyaung. It is possible that such decorations were added later when the building was already turned into the temple.

Sarassavati, the goddess of knowledge in Hinduism, has become the guardian of Buddhism knowledge in Myanmar. This shows how Hinduism was absorbed by Buddhism, which was a common thing in the Southeast Asia.
ArchitectureCandi Arjun
These temples closely resemble to those in South Indian art. The plan of the temple is characterized by the sanctum attached by the short porch. The body is divided by four pilasters into three parts, i.e. the central and the side projections. The superstructure comprises the superimposing miniature tiers (Tala) and the corner miniature temple (Hara). The step-like contour of the superstructure is similar to those in South Indian art.

Sculpture at Borobudur is very similar to Indian art in terms of the costumes, appliance, round characters and empty space. All of these show that central Java is related to Indian art.
SculptureRamayana Narrative at Candi Prambanan
Narratives at Candi Prambana have developed from those at Burobudo that is space is filled with natural patterns such as mountains and trees. This tendency is called by H.M. Subhahdaradis as “ the anti-enpty space”, which gets closer to the east Java art. Although some features are close to the east Java art, the human chracters are still round and volumed and face directly according to narratives in Indian art.
SculptureMain Tower: Angkor Wat
The central tower of Angkor Wat is of the normal character of the 12-century Cambodian temple. The temple is made of sandstone and added by the enterable doors cum porches. In case of Angkor Wat, the porches connect to the galleries of the four directions which turn the plan of the main temple into cruciform plan. The body of the temple is multi-angled. The superstructure is decorated with antefixes turning the stepped-contour roof into the corn-liked shape one. The antefixes have been used for the superstructures of the contemporaneous temples, like Phimai and Banteay Samre .
PaintingBodhisattva : Mural in Alopye
These bodhisattvas dressed very similarly to the Pala art like a crown with three faces, S shaped breast chain and streak panung. Including the appearance of two flowers fluttering both sides symmetrically, it indicates the influence of Pala art a lot. The painting itself is a hot tone color likes Pala. All this shows that the age of painting is in the early of Pagan era. The most important aspect for this Bodhisattva is sitting back and the normal Pala Iconography. This shows that the painting is written by a Pakan craftsman.
